TOGGENBURG ENDURANCE
RIDE.
The Northern Endurance Ride Club invites
all interested parties to participate at our Toggenburg Ride on
19 May 2007 Toggenburg is the farm of Handre and Helen Coetzee
and is situated ± 20 km from Grootfontein on the Tsumeb Main road.
DISTANCES:
30km, 60km, 80km & 100km.
THE COURSE:
It is a rather rocky course with small hills, loose stones and
rocks. It is advised that horses be shoed, but it is
not compulsory. This course has a 100% finishing record with 4
horses not being shoed.
CAMPING
+PADDOCKS: A campsite is available, this site is ± 3 km
from the farm house were the venue takes place.
Participants can also camp at the site of the venue, but take note
that these facilities can only cater for a limited number of
participants. Please bring your own paddocks. There are only a few
kraals available.
KIOSK:
A kiosk will be open on Friday afternoon and from 05hoo on Saturday.
Coffee, tee, sweets, beer, soft drinks, brotchens and hamburgers
will be sold. Please cater for your own meals on Friday evening.
Firewood will be supplied.

19 May 2007: 06hoo: 100 + 80 km Horses

07hoo: 30 + 60 km Horses depart.
16hoo: Best conditioned horses to be
presented.
18hoo: Prize giving ceremony.
19hoo: Dinner: 400gr Sirloin Steak, fries
and salad @N$25-00
per person .

GENERAL:
This is a very popular
ride so please ensure to confirm your entries as soon as possible to
assist us with the planning. We do not expect rain but be prepared.
