Today all the teams arrived safely after lunch. The riders
where introduced to there horses. And got to see the tough
rout the are going to endure during there endurance ride at Walvis
bay. 4x4 vehicles were used to show the visitors some of the
course (see picture pages).
Comments ranged from "wow" to "stunning" during the tour of some
of the terrain they have to ride. Most were impressed by the
beauty of the surroundings.
The Brazilian team showed lots of enthusiasm and excitement.
As the Australian team only arrived today, they where a bit jet
lagged.
We are off to the official Welcoming function... Will keep you
posted.

went to a lot of trouble to prepare a very delightful welcoming
function. Everyone enjoyed it. Teams and riders were introduced
and lots of new friends were made. Everyone seemed positive and
although competition will be just as tuff as the terrain, we are
sure that all the International guests will never forget this ride.
Good food was prepared and everyone enjoyed
themselves.
